2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Enquiry and free-trial forms: your name, email address, country, time zone, the session type you are interested in, and any note you choose to add.
- WhatsApp, phone, email and Instagram messages: your name, phone number or handle, and whatever you share in the conversation.
- Health and fitness context: you may tell us about injuries, conditions, pregnancy, fitness level or goals so sessions can be adapted safely. Please share only what you are comfortable with; it is used only for that purpose.
- Booking and payment details: the sessions or plan you choose and a record of payment. Payments are handled by the payment provider or bank you use; we do not store full card or bank account numbers.
Information collected automatically
- Spam protection: when you submit a form, a one-way hash of your IP address and browser type is used briefly to limit repeated submissions. It is not stored with your enquiry.
- Server logs: our hosting provider automatically records standard technical data (IP address, browser, pages requested, date and time) for security and reliability.
- Page reference: enquiries record which page of our site the form was sent from.
3. How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange your free trial or sessions at a time that suits your time zone.
- To deliver, adapt and follow up on your sessions, including sending Google Meet links and reminders.
- To manage bookings, payments and our records.
- To keep the website secure and prevent spam or misuse.
- To measure and improve our website and advertising, as described in section 5.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Where data-protection laws require a legal basis, we rely on taking steps at your request before or under a contract, our legitimate interest in running and improving our service, your consent (which you can withdraw at any time), and legal obligations.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for others’ own marketing. We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Website hosting and email (to run the site and deliver your enquiry to our inbox).
- Google (Gmail, Google Meet for live sessions, Google Fonts and the embedded Google Map on our site).
- Meta (WhatsApp and Instagram, when you message us there).
- Payment providers or banks you choose to pay with.
- Advertising and analytics providers such as Google and Meta, where used (see section 5).
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety or the safety of others.
5. Cookies, analytics and advertising
Our own website does not set cookies for tracking. Some embedded third-party services, such as Google Fonts and Google Maps, may receive your IP address and set their own cookies under their own policies.
We may use analytics and advertising tools, including Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel, to understand how visitors use our site and to measure and show our ads on Google, Facebook and Instagram, including to people who have visited our site before. These tools may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information such as pages visited, device and browser details, and actions such as submitting a form. We do not send the content of your enquiry, or any health information, to advertising platforms.
You can control this at any time:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Manage Google ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com and opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Manage Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram Ad preferences settings.
- In the USA, use industry opt-out tools at optout.aboutads.info.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, and client and payment records for as long as needed to provide sessions and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. After that we delete or anonymise them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see section 8).
7. How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS, enquiry backups are stored outside the public part of our web server, and access is limited to the people who run Blissfull Yoga World. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- access the personal information we hold about you, or receive a copy;
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your information;
- stop sending you messages, or withdraw consent you have given.
Depending on where you live (for example India, the EU/UK, or US states such as California), you may have additional rights under local law. Where US state law treats the use of advertising cookies as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, you can opt out using the controls in section 5 or by emailing us. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
To make a request, email blissfulyoga42@gmail.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we aim to respond within 30 days.
9. International transfers
We are based in India, and our service providers may process data in India, the USA or other countries. By using our service, you understand that your information may be processed outside your own country, where data-protection laws may differ. We use reputable providers and take reasonable steps to protect it.
10. Children
Our sessions are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Anyone under 18 should book only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Other websites
Our site links to services such as WhatsApp, Instagram and Google. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
