Health Disclaimer
Yoga supports general wellbeing. It is not medical treatment and does not replace advice from your doctor. Please read this before you practise with us.
1. Not medical advice
The sessions, guidance and information provided by Blissfull Yoga World, on this website, in live sessions, or through WhatsApp, Instagram or email, are for general wellbeing and educational purposes only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and are not a substitute for care from a doctor, physiotherapist or other qualified health professional.
Saumya Gangwar holds an M.Sc. in Yoga Science. She is not a medical doctor, and nothing in our sessions should be understood as treating, curing or preventing any disease or condition.
2. Check with your doctor first
Please consult your doctor before starting yoga or any new exercise, especially if you:
- are pregnant, recently gave birth, or are trying to conceive;
- have high or low blood pressure, a heart condition, diabetes, or respiratory problems;
- have back, neck, joint or other injuries, or have had recent surgery;
- have any other medical condition, or take medication that may affect exercise.
Tell your teacher about any such condition before each session so practices can be adapted. Breathing techniques (pranayama) and meditation may not suit everyone; follow your doctor’s advice.
3. Your responsibility
- Practise within your own limits. Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath or discomfort, and seek medical help if needed.
- Online sessions mean the teacher cannot physically assist or fully see your environment. Make sure your practice space is safe, clear and non-slippery, and that your camera shows your full body where possible.
- By taking part, you accept that yoga involves physical activity with some risk of injury, and that you participate voluntarily and at your own risk, to the extent permitted by law.
4. No guaranteed results
Everyone’s body and experience are different. Any benefits described on our website, in reviews or in social media are not guarantees. Results depend on your health, consistency and many other factors.
5. Website information
We try to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but we make no warranty that it is complete or error-free. External links are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for the content of other websites.
6. Emergencies
We cannot respond to medical emergencies. If you have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency number straight away (112 in India, 911 in the USA).
7. Questions
